In nearly all Cub Scout packs, these banquets are held once a year for the purpose of celebrating the Scouts’ achievements throughout the year, celebrating the pack’s anniversary, thanking pack leaders and other adult volunteers, and inspiring scouts, leaders, and family members. In our pack, it is also when we present our Pinewood Derby awards. Scouts will be awarded their badges of rank. We will also have our Arrow of Light ceremony, where the 5th graders cross over to a Scouts BSA troop. We will also have a 50/50 raffle and a Den gift basket raffle.
