What is the Raingutter Regatta, you ask? Scouts build and decorate small sail boats and use their own wind power (breath) to propel them down a track while racing a friend! There is no prep needed – we bring all supplies and all building is done at the event! All you need to do is:
Bring your assembled and decorated rockets. Loading of the parachute, wadding, and rocket engines and launch of the rockets will happen on-site. Come join us as we hone our gardening skills and make some treats for the animal shelter for dogs and cats. We look forward to seeing you there!
We will line up somewhere near the Mahopac Fire Department and march to the KMart / Stop & Shop Plaza. There is parking with shuttle bus service from the KMart / Stop & Shop lot. Please come dressed in full Class A (dress) uniform. We look forward to seeing you there!
