We will line up somewhere near the Mahopac Fire Department and march to the KMart / Stop & Shop Plaza. There is parking with shuttle bus service from the KMart / Stop & Shop lot. Please come dressed in full Class A (dress) uniform. We look forward to seeing you there!
Come join us "exercise" the Scout Law as we get physically fit!
After the opening ceremony, we will begin racing with multiple heats as determined by our scoring program. We will be having a bake sale, so bring your appetite! We look forward to seeing you all at the Derby for a day of great fun and sportsmanship! Pinewood Derby Rules
In nearly all Cub Scout packs, these banquets are held once a year for the purpose of celebrating the Scouts’ achievements throughout the year, celebrating the pack’s anniversary, thanking pack leaders and other adult volunteers, and inspiring scouts, leaders, and family members. In our pack, it is also when we present our Pinewood Derby awards.
Annual Akela day of Fun, Activities, and Campfire!
Friends and family are welcome! Bring your assembled and decorated rockets. Loading of the parachute, wadding, and rocket engines and launch of the rockets will happen on-site. The pack will purchase the engines and they will be available on site. BBQ, snacks & drinks will be served. There will be an awards ceremony for scouts
Bring your tents and camp out on the field for the Renegades all-scout sleepover. All campers will have the opportunity to enjoy a great 'Gades game followed by a fireworks show. After the game, it's time for kickball with Rascal and a movie on the videoboard. In the morning, campers will get a continental breakfast
Bring your hiking shoes and let's help our community by picking up some trash!
What is the Raingutter Regatta, you ask? Scouts build and decorate small sail boats and use their own wind power (breath) to propel them down a track while racing a friend! There is no prep needed – we bring all supplies and all building is done at the event! All you need to do is:
